Macleod & MacCallum North Caledonian League
    Thurso v Inverness Athletic
    Sir George’s Park, Thurso

Its back to Macleod & MacCallum North Caledonian League action this weekend for Inverness Athletic, as they travel north to face Thurso at The Dammies. Athletic will be looking to bounce back from their close home defeat last time out at the hands of Orkney but know that Thurso will provide another stern test. A look back at previous seasons will tell you just how hard Inverness have found it to take points from The Vikings at home, with Thurso scoring with ease and taking maximum points on Athletics last two visits to Caithness. Inverness boss Shane Caring will be aiming to buck the trend of Athletic defeats in Thurso and take the three points back down the A9 to the Highland Capital.

The Manager will be without a number of key players for the trip to Sir George’s Park, with Martin Bain (Holiday), Liam Martin (work) and Phil Macdonald (injured) definate absentees from his Inverness squad. Striker DJ Macphee will once again look to shake off a leg injury sustained against Bunillidh Thistle two weeks ago in time for Saturday’s game. Athletic boss Shane Carling is able to welcome back Martin Mainland into the squad with Ryan Ingram and Ryan Macleod both also hoping to make the trip north.
