  • Inverness Athletic welcome Thurso to the Highland Capital this weekend aiming to make it three wins on the bounce at their new home at Inverness Royal Academy. Shane Carling side have had a perfect start to life at their new surroundings with wins over Bunillidh Thistle and Alness United already under their belts, but the Manger knows that this weekends fixture is another tough one for his ever-improving side.  Athletic secures the bragging rights over their Caithness opponents the last time the two sides met, running out 4-2 winners up at The Dammies, so Stevie Reid’s men will be looking to avenge that defeat on Saturday and take a much needed three points but up the A9.

The Manger will still be without the services of long term absentee Liam Downie (injured), Ross Harrison (Away), Ryan Macleod (Suspended) and Martin Macdonald (injured) for Saturday’s clash. However, Athletic are able to welcome back Liam Martin and DJ Macphee who both missed the win over Alness United before the winter break. Athletic have also been boosted by the return of defender Ryan Stewart from injury that kept him sidelined for the last 6 weeks.
