  • Inverness Athletic have today been boosted with the loan signings of Craig Munro, Ryan Macdonald, Jack Maclean and Seamus McConaghy from our Highland League neighbours Nairn County, subject to SFA clearance. The quartet will bring a wealth of highland league experience to Jason Golabek’s squad as he looks to turn the fortunes of the club around after a dismal end to 2019. All four players go straight into the squad for Saturday’s trip north to face Halkirk United.

The club is also delighted to announce the permanent signing of winger Dominick Edwards from Clachnacuddin FC, subject to SFA clearance. Dom has been on loan with Athletic since before Christmas, impressing in his seven appearances in an Inverness shirt so the club is delighted that the loan move have now become a permanent one. Thank you to Clachnacuddin once again for all their help.

Manager Jason Golabek had his say on the new arrivals, “It a massive boost for the club to get these lads in on loan and to get Dom signed. The four lads that have come in from Nairn will add experience and quality to our squad which we have been needing for a few weeks now. Thank you to Ronnie and Nairn for allowing the lads to join to us. As for Dom, we know what he can do and that is why we were delighted when he made his loan move permanent. Thank you to Clach once again. It’s a great boost for everyone at the club.”
